On February 25th the students sent four projects/displays to the Learning Fair. Please look at the wonderful work done by our students. An Acknowledgement Ceremony was held for the great job done on the projects. Mr. Casella provided the students with awards and gift certificates.
Project Pals is a collaboration between our 5th grade class and class from the 373R Program @ IS61. Students began with a pen pal project and when the weather allows they will visit each others sites to do hands on projects on a monthly basis. A little history about Project Pals - it was initiated 20 years ago when Ms. Hagemann would take her class to her son's class at PS45 to work on monthly projects. Now her son is a teacher and asked if they could collaborate again!!!!!
